2015 North American Teams
Here's a huge list of teams that have either done well or gained popularity in NA this season so far:
2015 Seattle Regional Team
I ended up going 5-3 and got 64th place with this team. I felt it was alright, but the Heatran ended up being an odd fit as it gave me problems with fast Water-type Pokemon (rain stuff and Greninja notably). I felt most of my games were under my control, but I lost to things that I couldn't control (crucial critical hit in one, crucial Swagger turn in another, 70% moves hitting every time in the third + crucial Scald burn). I'm not trying to use it as an excuse or for sympathy, but I felt the team underperformed given its potential and a few things shouldn't necessarily be overlooked because of the end result. Cresselia was easily the most productive Pokemon on the team, and I also liked how it worked with Landorus-T + Zapdos + Aegislash + Kangaskhan. I think Thundurus over Zapdos is worth looking into as well, but Zapdos was decent enough.
Shoutouts to Yan (Sogeking) for the skeleton of the team, the sets and spreads were a lot different at first but I felt that it needed a bit more bulk to sustain better early in games since Terrakion is still overused in our metagame.
